A little note to nobody

i had my 'O' level fnn practical earlier in the morning =)
presenting my masterpiece.....!

i prepared
- seafood baked rice
- vegetable stir fry
- mango agar-agar with kiwi and starfruit
- strawberry milkshake with tofu (YES MY MILKSHAKE HAS A FREAKING TOFU IN IT !)

seafood baked rice.
instead of using just plain white rice, i substituted it with brown & white rice for it's nutritive values. but trust me, brown & white rice don't go well with cheese. it would taste much better if plain white rice was used instead.

Vegetable stir fry; which i belive that it was my best dish out of the four (although i don't consume veges. THE IRONY !) it tasted pretty good. My teacher even took a portion and gave it to her colleague.

Mango agar-agar with starfruit and kiwi.
i pureed the mango okay ! very healthy ;)
but unfortunatelyyyyy, the mango tasted sour so it affected the whole taste. but thank god honey does wonders. and btw, the black thingy on my agar-agar isnt dirt. it's the starfruit that's inside the agar-agar =)

strawberry milkshake with tofu.
trust me, you can't taste the tofu at all although i used a whole packet of it ;)
it tasted abit too milky (too much milk i guess?) but who cares. it's MILK-shake. it was pretty well done althought i think i could have done much better.

i'm pretty much proud of it although something shitty happened.
i switched on the rice cooker to cook my brown & white rice. so i did other stuffs while waiting for it to cook. guess what? when i went back to check on the rice, THE FUCKING RICE WAS NOT COOKED YET. why? let me tell you why.

THE RICE COOKER IS SPOILT.
yea now you tell me, you're giving me a spoilt rice cooker for my 'O' LEVEL PRACTICAL?! nice.

thanks ah. a whole lot of time wasted.
so i had to quickly change to another rice cooker and cook my pathetic rice. but whatever, it's all over and done with. i'm crossing my fingers right now.

overall i think it was a fun filled experience (chey cam pa) but really it was ! ;) and to think of it, that would be our last time having practical in the kitchen. there wouldnt be anymore practical(s) and i swear i would miss wearing my apron. it would never fail to make me look feminine! hahaha.

(let me get a little emotional here)
when i first had my fnn practical during sec 3 (okay, apart from having some shitty practical during sec 1 and 2) i seriously don't even know how to cook fried rice. YES I WAS FIFTEEN AND I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA HOW TO COOK FRIED RICE. okay and to think of it, i don't even know how to cook rice. shut up. i don't even know how to make pastries, PANCAKES or whatever you can think of.

but look at me now baby,
i'm a proud young chef ;)

i know how to make breadcrumbs ! hey that's an achievements okay. i always wanted to make perfect breadcrumbs. you name me any dish, i can prepare it with a snap of the finger (provided if you give me the methods lah!)

my future husband should feel really lucky to have a wife like me *gasp!*

and to YOU (you should know who you are),
you don't have to show me your attitude because i have my own. and it's suprising that it dosen't hurt when you walk away.
